"Gneisenau" participated in the invasion of Norway in April 1940.
When the ship was damaged after a British bombing in Kiel 1942, one of the cannons from the ship was demounted and repositioned at Fjell Fortress.
The room has a model of the cannon, where you can study all the details from the cannon well.
Maps, screens and posters adds perspective to the story.
The exhibition is situated in the canon well and is available without guide.
